UX Designer - content design (Phoenix, AZ)

Bright Maple Early Learning operates neighbourhood childcare around Phoenix, and we need a UX Designer to lead our content design. You would join a small organisation of about 184 people based in Phoenix. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around enrolment that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in enrolment. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Phoenix. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
