UX Designer - content design (Phoenix, AZ)

Redstone Loom Medical Group designs and makes medical devices in Phoenix. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on content design. Documentation is part of the craft. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around production lots that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in production lots. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Phoenix. • We reply to every applicant.
