UX Designer - content design (Philadelphia, PA)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Iron Financial and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. Trust is the product, so accuracy and clarity matter. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around regulatory reports that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in regulatory reports. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Philadelphia. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
