UX Designer - content design (Philadelphia, PA)

Fernwood Fox Learning Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on content design for enrolment, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 46 people based in Philadelphia. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around enrolment that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in enrolment. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Philadelphia. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
