UX Designer - content design (Orlando, FL)

Cedar Cobalt Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Orlando. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on content design. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around policy renewals that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in policy renewals. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Orlando. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
