UX Designer - content design (Omaha, NE)

Summit Sparrow Arts Center is a cultural organisation in Omaha presenting exhibitions and performances. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on content design. You would join a large organisation of about 617 people based in Omaha. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around exhibitions that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in exhibitions. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Omaha. • We reply to every applicant.
