UX Designer - content design (Omaha, NE)

Amberfield Timber Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Omaha, and we need a UX Designer to lead our content design. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around complaint handling that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in complaint handling. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Omaha. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
