UX Designer - content design (Omaha, NE)

Cedar Haven Insurance Group is an insurance company in Omaha with claims and service teams. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on content design. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Design for tasks around underwriting files that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in underwriting files. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Omaha. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
