UX Designer - content design (Omaha, NE)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Wilder Early Learning and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. You would join a large organisation of about 712 people based in Omaha. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around tuition and subsidies that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in tuition and subsidies. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Omaha. • We reply to every applicant.
