UX Designer - content design (Oklahoma City, OK)

Rivermark Wilder Insurance Group provides coverage to households and businesses around Oklahoma City, and we need a UX Designer to lead our content design. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around claims that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in claims. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Oklahoma City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
