UX Designer - content design (New Orleans, LA)

Cedar Wilder Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around New Orleans, and we need a UX Designer to lead our content design. You would join a small organisation of about 81 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around attendance records that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in attendance records. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
