UX Designer - content design (New Orleans, LA)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Umber Banking Services and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in branch operations. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
