UX Designer - content design (New Orleans, LA)

Clearpath Pike Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the New Orleans area, and we need a UX Designer to lead our content design. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around learning materials that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in learning materials. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
