UX Designer - content design (Nashville, TN)

Nova Summit Early Learning runs childcare centres in Nashville caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers, and we need a UX Designer to lead our content design. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Design for tasks around tuition and subsidies that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in tuition and subsidies. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Nashville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
