UX Designer - content design (Nashville, TN)

Westbrook Lakeside Transit Planning Group plans bus and rail service for cities around Nashville. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on content design. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around accessibility audits that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in accessibility audits. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Nashville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
