UX Designer - content design (Nashville, TN)

Foxglove Umber Health is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on content design for insurance authorisations, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 16 people based in Nashville. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around insurance authorisations that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in insurance authorisations. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Nashville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
