UX Designer - content design (Minneapolis, MN)

Lumen North Insurance Group is an insurance company in Minneapolis with claims and service teams. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on content design. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Minneapolis. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around policy renewals that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in policy renewals. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Minneapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
