UX Designer - content design (Minneapolis, MN)

Stonegate Ridge Insurance is an insurance company in Minneapolis with claims and service teams. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on content design. You would join a small organisation of about 113 people based in Minneapolis. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around customer complaints that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in customer complaints. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Minneapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
