UX Designer - content design (Minneapolis, MN)

Fernwood Union Banking Services is a community-focused bank in Minneapolis serving households and small businesses. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on content design. You would join a small organisation of about 140 people based in Minneapolis. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around account openings that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in account openings. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Minneapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
