UX Designer - content design (Minneapolis, MN)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Forge Banking Services and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. You would join a small organisation of about 196 people based in Minneapolis. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around deposit accounts that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in deposit accounts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Minneapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
