UX Designer - content design (Minneapolis, MN)

Bluepeak Wren Arts Center Group runs a venue and education programmes in Minneapolis. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on content design. You would join a large organisation of about 724 people based in Minneapolis. What you will do • Design for tasks around volunteer programmes that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in volunteer programmes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Minneapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
