UX Designer - content design (Milwaukee, WI)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Keystone Transit Planning and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. You would join a small organisation of about 32 people based in Milwaukee. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around service alerts that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in service alerts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Milwaukee. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
