UX Designer - content design (Milwaukee, WI)

We are growing our team at Cedar Oak Health and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. You would join a small organisation of about 118 people based in Milwaukee. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around referrals that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in referrals. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Milwaukee. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
