UX Designer - content design (Milwaukee, WI)

Westbrook Timber Learning Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on content design for student accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around student accounts that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in student accounts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Milwaukee, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
