UX Designer - content design (Milwaukee, WI)

Northwind Pike Markets is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on content design for shrink and waste, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 334 people based in Milwaukee. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around shrink and waste that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in shrink and waste. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Milwaukee, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
