UX Designer - content design (Milwaukee, WI)

Ironwood Orchard Health runs clinics and patient services around Milwaukee. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on content design. You would join a small organisation of about 194 people based in Milwaukee. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around electronic records that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in electronic records. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Milwaukee. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
