UX Designer - content design (Miami, FL)

Bluepeak Sable Community Partners is a Miami charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity, and we need a UX Designer to lead our content design. You would join a large organisation of about 699 people based in Miami. What you will do • Design for tasks around benefits enrolment that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in benefits enrolment. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Miami. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
