UX Designer - content design (Miami, FL)

Fernwood Basin Arts Center is a cultural organisation in Miami presenting exhibitions and performances. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on content design. You would join a small organisation of about 12 people based in Miami. What you will do • Design for tasks around exhibitions that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in exhibitions. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Miami. • We reply to every applicant.
