UX Designer - content design (Madison, WI)

Northwind Vale Financial serves customers across Madison with accounts, loans and payments, and we need a UX Designer to lead our content design. Teams collaborate across risk, service and technology. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around account servicing that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in account servicing. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Madison. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
