UX Designer - content design (Madison, WI)

We are growing our team at Westbrook River Press Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. Deadlines are tight and craftsmanship matters. What you will do • Design for tasks around press runs that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in press runs. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Madison. • We reply to every applicant.
