UX Designer - content design (Madison, WI)

We are growing our team at Silverline North Markets and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around online orders that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in online orders. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Madison. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
