UX Designer - content design (Madison, WI)

Westbrook River Press Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on content design for press runs, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who notice details. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around press runs that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in press runs. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Madison. • We reply to every applicant.
