UX Designer - content design (Louisville, KY)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Lantern Medical and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. You would join a small organisation of about 81 people based in Louisville. What you will do • Design for tasks around regulatory submissions that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in regulatory submissions. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Louisville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
