UX Designer - content design (Las Vegas, NV)

We are growing our team at Silverline Ember Community Partners and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. We are small enough to know everyone's name. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in grant reporting. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Las Vegas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
