UX Designer - content design (Las Vegas, NV)

Bluepeak Pike Learning Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on content design for attendance records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around attendance records that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in attendance records. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Las Vegas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
