UX Designer - content design (Las Vegas, NV)

Rivermark Beacon Press is a printer and publisher in Las Vegas serving local and national clients, and we need a UX Designer to lead our content design. You would join a large organisation of about 880 people based in Las Vegas. What you will do • Design for tasks around proofing that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in proofing. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Las Vegas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
