UX Designer - content design (Las Vegas, NV)

Fernwood Juniper Transit Planning Group is a transit-planning firm in Las Vegas working with agencies and riders. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on content design. You would join a small organisation of about 30 people based in Las Vegas. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around service alerts that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in service alerts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Las Vegas. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
