UX Designer - content design (Las Vegas, NV)

Northwind Nest Financial Group is a financial-services company in Las Vegas, and we need a UX Designer to lead our content design. Teams collaborate across risk, service and technology. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around loan applications that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in loan applications. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Las Vegas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
