UX Designer - content design (Knoxville, TN)

Nova Wilder Learning Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on content design for student accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Collaboration between teachers and staff is strong. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around student accounts that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in student accounts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Knoxville. • We reply to every applicant.
