UX Designer - content design (Knoxville, TN)

Summit Ridge Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Knoxville area, and we need a UX Designer to lead our content design. Collaboration between teachers and staff is strong. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in attendance records. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Knoxville. • We reply to every applicant.
