UX Designer - content design (Kansas City, MO)

Ironwood North Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around Kansas City, and we need a UX Designer to lead our content design. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Kansas City. What you will do • Design for tasks around school calendars that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in school calendars. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Kansas City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
