UX Designer - content design (Kansas City, MO)

Harborlight Ridge Early Learning Group is an early-learning provider in Kansas City. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on content design. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Design for tasks around tuition and subsidies that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in tuition and subsidies. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Kansas City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
