UX Designer - content design (Jacksonville, FL)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Iron Early Learning and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Design for tasks around enrolment that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in enrolment. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Jacksonville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
