UX Designer - content design (Jacksonville, FL)

Foxglove Vista Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Jacksonville plant, and we need a UX Designer to lead our content design. Deadlines are tight and craftsmanship matters. What you will do • Design for tasks around bindery work that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in bindery work. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Jacksonville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
