UX Designer - content design (Indianapolis, IN)

We are growing our team at Westbrook North Insurance Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around premium billing that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in premium billing. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Indianapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
