UX Designer - content design (Indianapolis, IN)

We are growing our team at Silverline Bridge Arts Center Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. Evenings and weekends are part of the job. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around visitor services that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in visitor services. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Indianapolis. • We reply to every applicant.
