UX Designer - content design (Houston, TX)

Bluepeak Lantern Markets is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on content design for store inventory, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around store inventory that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in store inventory. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
