UX Designer - content design (Houston, TX)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Vista Medical and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Houston. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around regulatory submissions that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in regulatory submissions. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
