UX Designer - content design (Houston, TX)

Fernwood Timber Learning Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on content design for enrolment, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Families are partners. What you will do • Design for tasks around enrolment that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in enrolment. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
