UX Designer - content design (Honolulu, HI)

Harborlight Fox Early Learning operates neighbourhood childcare around Honolulu, and we need a UX Designer to lead our content design. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Design for tasks around tuition and subsidies that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in tuition and subsidies. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Honolulu. • We reply to every applicant.
